episode three

TITLE

KEYWORDS: Sex, Pledge

Scripture

"Oh, I wish you were my brother,
who nursed at my mother’s breasts.
Then I could kiss you no matter who was watching,
and no one would criticize me.
I would bring you to my childhood home,
and there you would teach me
I would give you spiced wine to drink,
   my sweet pomegranate wine.
Your left arm would be under my head,
and your right arm would embrace me.

Promise me, O friends of Sissy,
not to awaken love until the time is right."

The writer of  this poem laments over a good feeling at the wrong time.  The  lessons are further explained with the following four 'S' words

  1. Sibling: Certain privileges are for only siblings depending on various cultures. Mention them.

  2. Show: of romantic affection (cuddle, kissing etc) to opposite sex is limited by law, based on age, and type of relationship

  3. Safe Space: open spaces are safer to meet with non-siblings. Give examples

  4. Substance (Use of drugs and alcohol) are risk factors for abuse and violence.

Now that you have read about Sissy and her experience with crush and attraction , will you join Sissy to make a pledge:

Prayer- My sex hormones, obey my command, go to sleep until I marry.

Pledge- I promise my ------ to abstain from sex until I marry. (fill the blank with who/what you value the most)
